The level of support provided by a school from its own resources, without an EHCP. It is the starting point for most children identified as having SEND. SEN Support should be documented in an ISP or equivalent, reviewed regularly, and involve parents. A child does not need a diagnosis to receive SEN Support — the school must act on identified need.
