When something about your child’s experience of school does not feel right, it can be hard to know where to begin. That is true whether you are a parent who has been carrying concerns for months, or a foster carer trying to understand what a child in your care may need.
Parents often come to us feeling uncertain, overloaded with information, or unsure whether they are over-reacting or missing something important. This page is designed to help you find the right starting point, without pressure or assumptions.
Our consultations are focused, time-limited conversations, designed to bring clarity at key points in a child’s SEND journey. They are independent, ethical, and grounded in educational reality.
You do not need to know the system already, that is our job.
If you’re not sure which of the consultations below is the right fit, start here.
We offer a free 20-minute introductory call, no charge and no obligation. It’s a short, relaxed conversation to help you work out where you are and whether any of our consultations would be useful. Many parents find that the call itself brings a degree of clarity.

When you need someone to act alongside you
Our consultations are designed to bring clarity and help you decide what to do next. Some families then want to do that themselves, with confidence. Others want someone alongside them to help carry it.
If you need practical support rather than just a conversation, we can help with that too. Preparing and submitting an EHCP request. Reviewing documents and reports. Attending school meetings. Writing formal correspondence. Preparing for mediation. Representing you at a SEND Tribunal.
If your main need is help with an EHCP application specifically, we have a dedicated page covering the full process from request through to final plan.
For other types of practical support including meeting attendance, correspondence, mediation, and tribunal representation, find out more about the ways we can work alongside you.
If you are not sure which kind of support fits your situation, the free 20-minute call is still the right place to start.
